Because we you to be completely comfortable with your session, here are answers to some of our common client inquiries. See if we can answer your questions before you even ask!
WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
My session fees vary depending on the package, but most clients spend between $400-$1200 on their total investment between session fees and products (excluding weddings). For print orders, there is no minimum purchase required.
WHY DO OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS CHARGE UNDER $100 FOR SESSIONS?
You get what you pay for. Our sessions and products are are priced to reflect the time, money and effort we put into our craft. You would not expect to get a designer gown or a well-fitting tux for under $100. So you should not expect to get wonderful photographs cheaply.
You will receive products and services tailored specifically to your needs and desires. We take great care in choosing the best images, editing them, and then providing you with digital sharing files, prints, and products.
Our products are chosen with sustainability, uniqueness, and quality forefront in our minds.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Absolutely. We have done sessions across the nation, and we love to travel!
IS THERE A MILEAGE FEE?
Within Cumberland and Hoke counties, no mileage fee will be charged. If the shoot is scheduled at a location outside those counties, a fee of $0.40 will be charged per mile, round trip.
DO YOU CHARGE A RETAINER?
A 30% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking your session to reserve your date. Book your session here.
HOW DO I PAY?
We accept all common forms of payment: credit card, check and cash. All bounced checks will be assessed at a $40 additional fee. All sessions and products are subject to AL sales tax.
Since products and prints can be pricey, investments over $600 (not including the session fee) are eligible for payment plans. The total price of the products must be paid in full by the delivery date.
DO YOU INCLUDE RAW IMAGES WITH YOUR SESSION INVESTMENTS?
We do not include the raw files in our sessions. We choose to do this for a couple reasons. First, we provide you with files to share on social media or online, because we know that you want your friends and family to see the beautiful pictures you have received. You may not even want prints, and we understand that.
Also, we know how to properly develop and print these products to give you the best possible product in return.
We highly encourage you to purchase at least a few prints from your session. There is not minimum purchase for prints.
Since every client has different needs, digital packages are available for purchase.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE RESCHEDULE?
We know we don't control the weather. In case of inclement weather such as extreme temps, high winds, rain or snow, every effort will be made to reschedule your session as soon as possible.
If an emergency comes up, please call us as soon as you find out you need to cancel or reschedule. Your retainer that is paid will not be refunded, but can be applied towards a later session date.
Any shoots needing rescheduling due to personal reasons will be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.
WHEN WILL MY IMAGES BE READY?
Most images are ready in 3 weeks after the photo shoot. We spend a lot of time hand editing each photo from your session and giving you the best possible return on your investment. If your photos are completed early, we will send them your way immediately.
Your images are delivered on a password protected gallery, which is delivered to your email address. Images are downloadable through the gallery.
DO YOU OFFER SNEAK PEEKS?

At this time, we do offer a print release for our images. Should you choose to purchase prints from your session, we offer a variety of reasonably priced products that will fit any product need. We do not require a minimum purchase for prints.

DO YOU OFFER A COPYRIGHT RELEASE?
We do not give a copyright release for any of our images. As artists, we retain the rights to the images we take.
CAN I USE THE PHOTOS ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE?
Please do! The only thing we ask is that you credit us in the photo, as per your sharing policy, by "tagging” our business page in the comments or description of photos.
ARE PRINTS INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?
Prints, albums and fine art, as well as high-res digital images, are not included with the session fee.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK THE SESSION?
Sessions should be booked at a minimum of two weeks in advance.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
What you wear may depend on the type of session and what kind of mood you would like to portray. It is best to stay away from large logos, prints and patterns on clothing and to dress for your body type.
Also, we recommend that you avoid bright, neon or reflective colors in a top or shirt. These colors, when places near the chin and neck, often create an unflattering color cast.
Upon request, we will develop a personal, private outfit idea board on Pinterest to exchange ideas and prop suggestions. While our images will never be imitations of these photos, ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
DO YOU HAVE A MAKEUP ARTIST OR STYLIST ON RETAINER?
We have plenty of connections and will gladly refer you to our best stylists and friends in the industry.

WHAT ARE SOME GENERAL HAIR AND MAKEUP GUIDELINES FOR MEN AND WOMEN?
For ladies, accenting the eyes with heavier makeup application often helps bring out your features. Avoid makeup that is a different color from your skin tone, and also avoid reflective makeup.
For men, be sure to freshly shave before the shoot, to avoid a five o'clock shadow (unless that is the look you are going for, which we can totally dig as well). Please remove all keys, cell phones and general stuff from your pockets prior to the sessions. We like to keep you looking sharp without any unsightly mystery bumps!
